Cookie Policy

A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser when you open a website. It is sent back with every request to the same website and enables the website to recognise you as “the same browser”. A cookie does not itself collect information; it contains only the value placed by the website, usually a number.

In addition to cookies, this policy also covers browser local storage (localStorage). Although technically a different mechanism, it serves the same function and is therefore subject to the same rules.

The Site uses no advertising cookies, retargeting cookies or cross-site tracking cookies. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag and similar third-party tracking tools are not used.

The entries used serve only three purposes: the operation of the Site, remembering the minor choices you make on the Site and, if you give permission, anonymous visit measurement.

Entries that are strictly necessary for the operation of the Site are not subject to your permission, as they are required to provide the service you have requested (KVKK Art. 5(2)(c) and Art. 5(2)(f)). Preference and measurement entries, by contrast, are activated only if you give permission in the cookie panel; if you do not, these entries are not written and the measurement script is not loaded on the page at all.

In line with the Personal Data Protection Authority’s guidance on cookie practices, the options “Accept all” and “Essential only” are presented with equal prominence in the panel. Declining permission does not prevent you from using the Site. You may withdraw your permission at any time; upon withdrawal, any preference entries previously written are deleted.

The list below is an up-to-date inventory of the entries used by the Site. The list is generated directly from the Site’s cookie management infrastructure and is therefore always identical to the entries the Site actually uses. Entries marked “Never created for visitors” are created only in the browsers of Company personnel who log in to the administration panel.

We count, in aggregate, which pages are read, where visitors come from and from which country and city they connect. The aim is to see which content is useful.

• It runs on our own server. Data are not sent to any third party or to any service located abroad.
• It does not use cookies. No entry is written to your browser for measurement purposes.
• Your IP address is not stored. Visitors are counted by means of an irreversible hash generated with a key that changes daily; this hash cannot be linked to any individual. The IP address is used only momentarily to derive country and city information and is not stored.
• It is never loaded without your permission. If you have not permitted measurement, the measurement script is not added to the page.

Information collected: the address of the page visited, the previous address from which you arrived (referring website or search engine), country and city, device type, browser, operating system, screen size, time of visit and time spent on the page. This information is reported in aggregate, not on an individual basis.

As measurement is anonymous, it is technically impossible for us to locate and delete the record of an individual visitor, since no information is kept that would indicate which record relates to you.

Using the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page, you may reopen the panel and switch each group on or off individually. Your choice is retained for 6 months, after which you will be asked again.

You may also delete or block cookies and site data via the “Privacy” or “Site data” section of your browser settings. If you block essential entries, your language preference will not be remembered and the cookie panel will reappear on every page.

Social media icons are links only; the code of these platforms is not embedded in the Site, and no data are sent to these platforms unless you click on them. When you click on a link and move to the relevant platform, that platform’s cookie and privacy policies apply.

Your rights in relation to your personal data and the means of application are explained in the Privacy Notice (KVKK).

When a new cookie or browser storage entry is added to the Site, the list above is updated automatically and, where necessary, your permission is requested again. The text of this policy may also be updated where necessary; the version and date information at the top of the page indicates the most recent amendment.
