Parks and Gardens Management System

Green-space upkeep, managed from one map.

Parks and Gardens Management System lets an organisation record its parks, verges and trees on the map, and run watering, mowing and pruning through scheduled work orders.

Four key measures of green-space work.

Mowing schedule, at-risk trees, playground inspections and the monthly upkeep rate are followed together.

Mowing is planned area by area.

The week’s work is spread across areas and days.

Risky trees are marked on the map.

Risky and watch-listed trees stand out.

Playground inspections are on record.

Each playground’s last inspection is kept.

The monthly upkeep rate is visible at a glance.

The share of area looked after is tracked month by month.

Every element of the park is recorded on the map.

Boundaries, vegetation, fixtures and play areas of parks and verges are kept in separate layers.

Every closed job is written to the area’s upkeep history.

A separate record is kept for every tree.

Each tree’s species, planting year, trunk diameter and last pruning date are kept; felling and replanting are followed on the same record.

AI turns records into job suggestions.

Weather, upkeep records and requests are weighed together to prepare suggestions for the day’s work.

Suggestions are applied with the field supervisor’s approval.

Rain is expected tomorrow; watering can wait.

Upkeep work is tied to a calendar all year.

Upkeep intervals are set separately for each area. The yearly calendar shows the crews’ workload month by month.

Requests about parks land on the crew’s job list.

A reported problem is followed in one flow from record to result. If the institution also uses the Solution Centre, the request and the reply move forward in the same record.

  1. 01

    Request

A citizen or crew reports it; the spot is marked on the map.

    • Broken fixture
    • Fallen or risky tree
    • Irrigation fault
  2. 02

    Work order

A work order goes to the right crew and is planned with the scheduled jobs.

    • Bench · playground
    • Tree · footpath
    • Valve · lawn
  3. 03

    Closed

When the job closes, so does the request; the outcome goes back to the requester.

    • Fallen or risky tree
